Think about what is coming up in your diary, whether it’s a holiday or a friend’s wedding, and plan accordingly. Renovating your home can add significant value to your home, if and when you come to sell so it’s an important consideration. It can be tempting to hop on the latest trend but it’s worth considering if you are going to love it in five years time. Paint colours and decor can be evolved easily as your tastes change but for more permanent features, such as flooring and lighting, considering longer-term value can really pay off in the long run.
